In the summer of 2024, Mentoring Alliance will host our first summer camps in Abilene ISD! Want to know what Mentoring Alliance Summer Camps is all about? Check it out below!

Starting with a run down the red carpet while our leaders cheer them on, our campers grow in their faith while building relationships, learning new things and having a blast. We partner with local schools and their staff to provide reading and math classes throughout the week, in a fun and engaging setting. Our leaders build intentional relationships with their campers through fun activities and bible studies. We want all of our campers to leave each day knowing that we love them and they matter.

Who is Mentoring Alliance?

At Mentoring Alliance, we exist to mobilize godly people into lives of kids and families to provide tangible help and eternal hope. We do this through three programs: Summer Camps, After School and Mentor Connect. Though each program is different, they're all focused on mentoring kids and making a lasting impact.

We have three priority outcomes, or goals, for every child that experiences one of our programs:

Vibrant faith - The most important and impactful thing we can do for children is help lead them into a relationship with Jesus. This is always our number one priority.
Academic success - We work with every child to help them build confidence in school and reach their full academic potential – even in the summer!
Emotional Resilience - We teach kids to overcome challenges, develop integrity, build authentic relationships and more.

We aren’t calling perfect people to do the impossible. We’re inviting ordinary people to make an extraordinary difference in a child’s life by doing what Jesus did – walking with, modeling for and loving someone near him.
